2K Games has appointed Ben Brinkman from Respawn Entertainment to direct the studio crew at 31st Union, which is currently crafting the anticipated third-person action-packed title known as this innovative game.
Leadership Transition Follows Mixed Response
The new appointee assumes the leadership position at the development studio following the dismissal of former leader Michael Condrey, who was reportedly let go due to the game's underwhelming early showing last autumn.
On Wednesday, the company's top executive a key figure notified employees about this organizational change through an internal memo, which stressed that playtesting had indicated the requirement for a clearer vision.
The president stated that the developers is now refining the project with a revised approach, aiming to satisfy player expectations.
A Pattern of Strategic Hires
This announcement echoes a comparable action taken by the publisher in August, when they brought on an industry veteran from the Diablo team to contribute to the BioShock development group.
